Raffle

For the 2009 raffle (stay tuned for information about the 2010 raffle):

Instead of making participants decide between several different items, there is one item up for bids.

2009’s raffle item was a Sony VAIO Core2 Duo laptop with Windows Vista Premium, 2 GB of memory, a roomy 250 GB hard drive, universal wireless capability, a CD/DVD burner.  This computer also include multimedia extensions for use as an entertainment center – play movies on a bright 15 inch display, with up to 5 hours battery life.

This computer would be fine for working from home, but would also be excellent for older kids to use for homework, and can even make a great vacation companion for watching DVDs in the car or at the beach house.
